Appearance
A compact, sculptural cactus known for its unusual, twisting growth pattern.

Slow-growing and typically stays under 12 inches (30 cm) tall, but can eventually form large, sprawling clusters.
Care & Growing Conditions
Light: Thrives in bright indirect light or partial sun. Acclimate gradually to full sun to avoid scorching.
Soil: Use a gritty, well-draining cactus mix.
Watering: Water sparingly. Let soil dry out completely between waterings. Water even less during winter.
Temperature: Best in USDA zones 9–11. Protect from frost and freezing temps below 30°F (-1°C).
Humidity: Low humidity preferred; too much moisture may lead to rot.
Flower
Rarely flowers indoors, but mature specimens may produce large, nocturnal white blooms in summer.
Toxicity
Non-toxic to pets and people, but its spines can cause injury. Handle gently!
