Appearance
A small, globular cactus with dense tubercles arranged in neat spirals around the stem.
Radial spines are fine and white, while central spines are slightly longer and darker, creating a soft, textured appearance.
Forms small clumps over time, typically staying under 6–8 inches tall and spreading slightly wider.
Care & Growing Conditions
Light: Prefers bright light to full sun; sufficient light encourages compact growth and flowering.
Soil: Well-draining cactus or sandy soil mix.
Watering: Water sparingly; let soil dry completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.
Temperature: Thrives in USDA zones 9–11; protect from temperatures below 30°F (-1°C).
Humidity: Prefers low humidity and dry conditions.
