Appearance
A globular, blue-green cactus with distinct vertical ribs lined with short, golden-yellow spines.
Typically grows 4-6 inches (10-15 cm) tall but can reach up to 12 inches (30 cm) with age.
Forms clumps over time, creating clusters of rounded stems.
Care & Growing Conditions
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to full sun; too much direct sunlight may cause sunburn.
Soil: Well-draining sandy or cactus mix soil.
Watering: Water moderately during the growing season (spring & summer), allowing soil to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.
Temperature: Thrives in USDA zones 9-11; protect from temperatures below 30°F (-1°C).
Humidity: Prefers low humidity; excessive moisture can lead to root rot.
